Art for those who hunger and thirst.

As He hung upon the cross, Jesus uttered the words, "I thirst" (John 19:28). In doing so, He revealed, in His deepest suffering, how intensely He longs for each and every one of us with a love that surpasses our understanding. In turn, every person on this earth carries within them a deep hunger and thirst for meaning and beauty.

As an artist, my mission is to create with the works of mercy in mind: to feed the spiritually hungry, to comfort the sorrowful through beauty. Fyodor Dostoevsky famously wrote that "beauty will save the world." In a world imbued with so much sorrow and brokenness, I pray that my art will act as a small beacon of beauty and hope, pointing ultimately to the One who is the source of all hope.

I firmly believe that every second, minute, or hour spent making life more beautiful is worth it. No time is wasted in the pursuit of creating something authentically human, something that reflects the grandeur of our God and of our world.
